With their first round, 9th pick in the 2019 NWSL College Draft, the Courage selected Hailey Harbison from Pepperdine. Harbison is a 5’4″ redshirt senior from Rancho Penasquitos, CA, and played as a defender/forward at Pepperdine, while the NC Courage have her listed as a midfielder.
Harbison is a former teammate of Lynn Williams, who also attended Pepperdine from 2011-2014.

The newest Courage player earned All-West Region honors four times, with three be the first team. Additionally, she is a two-time WCC Defensive Player of the Year. In Pepperdine’s school history, she is tied for second on Pepperdine’s all-time list for games started among field players and tied for eighth for games played among field players.
